Follow This 7-Day Weight Loss Meal Plan To Shed Kilos

A weight loss meal plan needs to be carefully crafted. It is not always about consuming fewer fats, carbohydrates, and calories, but it is more about consuming the right amount of nutrients.

You must eat a different type of food each day for the course of the diet, which lasts one week.

Consuming detoxifying foods with negative calories is part of the diet. But is that effective and healthy?

The diet helps you to :

- Detoxify your body and lose up to 7 kilograms in a week

- Boost your digestion

- Make your body more effective at burning fat

The foods that make up the diet have negative calories, which means that after digestion, they give you fewer calories than they require. The diet includes many foods that are heavy in the water. The diet's proponents claim that you can repeat it several times to reach your weight loss objectives, but there should be a gap of 5-7 days between each cycle.

What to eat from Day 1 until Day 7?

Every day has a distinct food item like fruits, vegetables, and a combination of each. You should have 8 to 12 glasses of water daily, according to the diet. Exercise is not necessary, however, it is recommended if you want to lose weight. For the first three days of the diet, exercise is not recommended as you consume fewer calories and more water-based plants and vegetables.

As there are no precise guidelines on the quantity or timing of fruit consumption, begin the diet by consuming as many fruits as you want on the first day. You can also include apples, oranges, and papaya in your diet, but watermelons and muskmelons are especially encouraged due to their high fiber content.

Drinking 8 to 12 glasses of water daily and avoiding starvation at any point during the day are two additional crucial components of a healthy diet. Feel free to consume some fruits whenever you are hungry to sate your hunger.

On Day 2

The weight loss plan is all about eating the right vegetables, as opposed to the first. These vegetables can be eaten raw or can be cooked to add flavor to the veggies. Additionally, be sure no oil was used in their processing.

Although you can eat vegetables at any time of the day if you're hungry, avoid unhealthy options like deep-fried or even a packet of your favorite brand of chips if you decide to consume potatoes. Olive oil or butter can be used sparingly for flavor if it is absolutely necessary.

Here’s a quick & easy veggie recipe that will go well with your diet -

Starchy veggies should first be steamed until almost done before continuing to roast in the oven. Additionally, roast non-starchy vegetables in the oven with just the seasonings (no steaming necessary). Because they are more sensitive and typically contain more water, they don't require the additional moisture, and steaming would make them soggy.

Cook the sweet potatoes, carrots, and brussels sprouts in this particular case. The broccoli, beets, cauliflower, peppers, cabbage, and zucchini can be crisped in the oven.

Mix the veggies in a pot and add your favorite herbs & seasonings. Be careful with cheese. If your diet allows you, sprinkle grated cheese on top.

On Day 3

Stick to eating a variety of fruits and vegetables on the third day of the diet. These foods can be similar to those that were eaten the previous two days. Bananas and potatoes are the two foods that must be avoided.

Your body would have started to adjust to the new diet by the middle of the week. Fruits would be a nice addition to it after a day of only eating veggies because the two together also give the body the advantages of high fiber and protein.

To remove all toxins from the body, you need to drink 8 to 12 glasses of water daily.

On Day 4

One can finally eat the bananas they had been avoiding for the first three days, but they must be taken over the course of the day—8 bananas. The consumption can be distributed among meal and snack periods throughout the day. In addition, one should drink a large glass of milk at breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. A cup of soup can also be added to the diet if this gets boring.

Because they are high in pectin, bananas boost digestion. They also give the body the quick energy it needs to continue functioning. They are low in salt and high in potassium in addition to other nutrients.

On Day 5

Non-vegetarians can eat a lean protein source like fish or chicken breast, while vegetarians can choose to eat a bowl of brown rice. Additionally, one must consume six huge tomatoes.

Non-vegetarians can eat about 500 g of baked or lightly fried skinless chicken with six tomatoes for lunch, while vegetarians can consume a bowl of brown rice as long as little oil is used in the preparation. By consuming up to 15 glasses of water each day, you can lessen your body's tendency to produce large amounts of uric acid.

Brown rice aids with digestion and is high in fiber. Additionally, lean protein is abundant in chicken and fish. Additionally, tomatoes have a high fiber content, which helps with digestion, and fish also contains omega-3 fatty acids.

On Day 6

Of the GM Diet, the person must have cooked or raw veggies. As previously said, vegans should choose a cup of brown rice, while non-vegetarians should add a lean protein source to their diets, such as fish or chicken breast.

The sixth day, which also has a reasonably high food intake, follows a similar pattern to the previous day with the inclusion of cooked or raw vegetables. Verify that the veggies are boiled rather than fried, and salads shouldn't contain a lot of heavy dressing.

On Day 7

A cup of brown rice, a variety of vegetables, and fruit juice would be consumed. For lunch, one can have a cup of brown rice and a bowl of cooked veggies. For hydration, follow each meal or snack with a glass of sugar-free fruit juice to balance out the nutrient-dense vegetables.

The rice and veggies will provide the body the energy it needs to maintain functioning properly, and the fruit juices will aid in the removal of toxins from the body.

Vegetables like potatoes and sweet potatoes should be avoided, and fruits like banana, cherry, mango, and pears should also be avoided too.
